Last year, we were approached by Iffa, who is a local film shooter, and she requested if we could cover her wedding on film. We rarely shoot on film but we were up to the challenge!
Shooting on film poses a few risk in this digital age era. One is the uncertainty of the outcome. Second is if you get the moment right. Third is the colour processing of the film produced locally. But this is the magic of shooting on film.
Our set up is pretty simple yet complex. We used 3 film cameras, Contax T2, Mamiya M645 1000s and Nikon F100. The films we used are Kodak Portra 400, Fuji Pro400H and Fujicolor Natura 1600.
